Invest Idaho received full approval and designation from the Department of Homeland Security and the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (“USCIS”) on September 1, 2009.

Why EB-5

An EB-5 project

Foreign Investors

The EB-5 program grants Foreigner Investors permanent U.S. residency in exchange for helping create U.S. jobs. It requires a $1.8 million investment in urban areas or a $900,000 investment in rural or Targeted Employment Areas (TEA) and the creation of 10 permanent jobs. The investment must also remain "at-risk" without repayment for a period of two full years. EB-5 applicants first receive a conditional green card valid for 2 years. At the end of that time they must file another application showing that their money was "at-risk" during the 2 year period and that the jobs have been created directly or indirectly as a result of the investment. Once that has been approved, they become permanent green card holders.

 

Invest Idaho is very conservative in the evaluation of each Project offered. Every Project must withstand a rigorous evaluation process to determine if its meets Invest Idaho's stringent project qualifications. 

 

Invest Idaho takes a personal approach with each and every Foreign Investor. We strive to make their EB-5 journey as successful as possible.

 

New Project Proposers

In part, due to the result of turbulent economic times, tighter bank financing and the globalization of the private finance and investment world, EB-5 Immigration Investor Visa Programs are gaining recognition as a viable funding source for major Projects in the U.S. They typically offer a lower cost of funding when compared to traditional choices. There are several options available for terms and conditions concerning EB-5 Regional Center Project funding.
